At the Conference, Green Herbal Investment Joint Stock Company announced 2 scientific research works on American Wisconsin Ginseng: One is a study on the pharmacological effects of American Wisconsin Ginseng conducted by the Ginseng Center. and Ho Chi Minh City Pharmaceuticals. A clinical experimental study was carried out by the Oriental Medicine Association in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.

Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Thu Huong – Center of Ginseng & Medicinal Plants in Ho Chi Minh City reported the results of research on the pharmacological effects of American Wisconsin Ginseng: 1/ Survey results on acute oral toxicity: the maximum dose is 36g/kg ; 2/ Survey results of anti-stress effect: at a dose of 1.2g/kg American ginseng after 7 days has the effect of correcting sleep disorders caused by psychological stress; 3/ The results of the investigation of the effect on blood sugar with diabetes: at a dose of 1.2g/kg of ginseng after 14 days of treatment, the glycemic index decreased by 45.4%; 4/ Results of surveying male sex hormone effects: at doses of 0.6g/kg and 1.2g/kg American ginseng helps to increase plasma testosterone levels, increasing the weight of seminal vesicles – prostate, the weight of the muscles that lift the anus.
